Immerse yourself in an unforgettable cultural celebration of Noongar Arts on Saturday, 7 September. The Bunbury Regional Art Gallery and the Noongar Arts Program proudly present two fantastic events in one day.
Experience the creativity of over a dozen talented artisans at NAP Fashion 2024, supported by Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre and Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation, where stunning artworks from the Noongar Arts Program come to life in the form of textiles and accessories on the runway. The BREC doors open at 2pm with the NAP Fashion 2024 showcase starting at 3pm.
Continue the festivities with the opening of Noongar Country 2024 - Our Elders, Our Pathfinders at BRAG, an inspiring exhibition curated with the vision to elevate and highlight Elders who have paved the way forward for moort and boodja, past and present. Visit BRAG from 4pm for nibbles and free entry, making it the perfect opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Noongar community.
