A Macedonian folktale comes to life when farmer Nikola forms an unlikely bond with Silyan, t an injured white stork abandoned by its flock . Left behind when his own family leaves in search of work, Nikola slowly finds renewed purpose and belonging as he nurses the bird back to health.
